Driving Directions

Charlestown is located on the south coast of Cornwall approximately a 1.5 hours drive from Exeter.


From Exeter, take the A30 signposted to Launceston.
Come off the A30 at St Austell and take the A391
Through Bugle, towards St Austell
There are several roundabouts. Just keep heading for St Austell
The A391 meets the A390 at a set of traffic lights.
At the A390 traffic lights Holmbush Road turn right
Turn left at Holmbush Arch Road - traffic lights. (You will see Tesco on your right.)
At the roundabout turn right on to Church Road
At the T-junction turn left on to Charlestown Road and you are now in the village of Charlestown.
At the next roundabout take the first exit left to Quay Road. The road sweeps round to the right towards the sea leaving the Shipwreck and Heritage Centre on your left hand side. Quay Road is a private road and our cottages are Nos 6, 4 and 3.

Once you have unloaded your car(s) please park responsibly by tucking it in on the right hand of the road by the railings.

During the busy summer season or if you are travelling in more than one vehicle, there may be times when it is not possible to park directly outside your cottage. If this occurs, the Charlestown car park is a few minutes walk away.
